In Alola there is an increased tendency for Pokemon to evolve erratically. Because of this the Pokemon Professor in Alola is a leading evolutionary expert and has taken it upon themselves to document these anomalies as they appear. Because of this, colleagues everywhere are constantly lending their expertise to the development of an evolving Pokedex. However in the case of Mega Evolutions, they must be studied closely to determine the authenticity of the adaptation and to rule out minor genetics defects from astute evolutionary leaps in the genetic code that yield greater potential.
A Pokemon that has successfully uncovered a Mega Evolution form must be documented here, where its legitimacy will be upheld. A Trainer hoping to apply for a Custom Mega Evolution should fill out this template here and pending Staff review the Mega Evolution will need to be adapted further before it will be added to the compilation.
