QUESTION: Are HM Moves necessary to cut trees, fly on a pokemon, etc.?
ANSWER: No. If a pokemon's anatomy is practical for the job, you may do it without the TM/HM Move. Knowing these moves is purely for combat purposes. But this also means a pokemon must be large enough to ferry a human around if it is meant to swim or fly, and so forth.
QUESTION: Is player traveling progressive?
ANSWER: To keep things simple, a player does not need to have visited a place to make a thread there. Players will not be asked to track town progression to know where they can and can't fly to like in the games, for example. Feel free to go where you damn well please.
QUESTION: What exists inside a Pokeball?
ANSWER: We follow the ideal environment theory that presumes a Pokemon is within a paradise where they can enjoy themselves while dormant inside a trainer's Pokeball.

ANSWER: Since we didn't want to add a separate thread explaining the whole thing. Everybody has a Pokegear that acts as a nav, Poketch & C-Gear all bundled up into a phone.

ANSWER: Literally we don't have one. We decided that instead of a typically negative or harsh system used to limit pokemon, we'd instead use incentives to encourage certain pokemon being used on site.
